After you submit your application

    Complete all requirements within 90 days of your online application. This includes taking a drug test, having your fingerprints and photo taken, and completing education requirements. To schedule an appointment for a drug test, call LabCorp at (800)923-2624 . They will notify the TLC electronically of your results, which takes approximately three days.       To have your fingerprints and photo taken, visit www.identogo.com to schedule an appointment. When asked for an ORI number, write “TAXI” to find locations that serve TLC applicants and licensees. You will also need your TLC license application number and your DMV license number to log into the website to request an appointment.

        You must complete a 24-hour education course and pass a final exam, with a score of 70 or higher. The course and exam are available in English, Spanish, Bengali, Urdu, and American Sign Language. More information can be found here:
